IBS Homeopathy

IBS Homeopathy

IBS symptoms vary from person to person and time to time. Homeopathy works on the principle of “like cure like”, thus for IBS treatment homeopathy provides effective healing.

Knowing the basics of homeopathy

Homeopathic remedies generally available in dosages of 6, 12, or 30 X or C potency. (The X stands for 10-time dilution potentiation, and the C stands for 100-times dilution potentiation, so the C potencies are much higher.) The higher the number, greater the dilution, and more potent the remedy. Usually, you take four pellets or drops of a remedy several times a day. It is advisable to take liquid medications instead of the pellets, because the pellets are made of lactose, it might trigger symptoms if you are lactose intolerance.

For a very acute, painful symptom, take the remedy every 15 minutes. If there is no improvement after taking five or six doses of a remedy, then it indicates the remedy is ineffective and should require choosing a new (another) remedy.

IBS healing with Homeopathy

Homeopathy operates on the principle that a substance in large doses will cause the symptoms of an illness, the same substance in minute dose relieves from the same symptoms. IBS is a functional bowel disorder diagnosis based on their symptoms only, similarly homeopathy prescriptions based on the symptoms match, thus it fits best for IBS treatment. Homeopathic medicine is safe and effective and has a very good record of accomplishment in the treatment of functional complaints.

Homeopathy prescriptions are according to your symptoms rather than the disease. Thus two people with IBS, having differing symptoms (physical, mental, psychological, and modalities), would get different homeopathic remedies (medicine).

A six-year study at Bristol Homeopathic Hospital revealed that 70% of patients with IBS reported positive health changes after homeopathic treatment.
