Black tea: An old effective home remedy for diarrhea; a glass of black tea, 2 teaspoon of honey, 1/2 lemon juice, mix, and drink twice a day. 

Homemade ORS solution; clean water 1 liter (5 cups), sugar 6 teaspoons, sea salt ½ teaspoon, stir until dissolve, and drink it often to avoid dehydration. If you want, add 1 or 2 lemon juice.

Cinnamon: Add a teaspoon of cinnamon (or cinnamon tea bag) to a cup of warm water, mix well, drink slowly, and repeat every hour until feel improvement. 

Fenugreek seeds are wonderful remedy for many health problems including indigestion and diarrhea. Take 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds with a glass of water or buttermilk/yogurt. You can take it regularly to cure various health problems specifically indigestion and diarrhea. Alternatively sock a spoon of fenugreek in water overnight and eat the socked seed in the next day morning to maintain health. It is very useful for IBS diarrhea.

Take 2 tsp each from cumin seeds and fenugreek seeds, roast the mixture, crush into powder, take 4 tsp of this powder, mix with a bowl of yogurt, consume this 3 times a day to relive from diarrhea.

Charcoal: Take few tablets of charcoal or activated carbon every few hours along with plenty of water during food poisoning, stomachache, or diarrhea. The charcoal catch up what causes diarrhea and leave the body with it help faster recovery from diarrhea or poison in your intestine.

Take grapefruit seed extract 15 drops in a glass of water and drink several times a day.  Grapefruit Seed Extract (GSE) has been in use for killing more than 800 bacteria (Salmonella, E.coli, Staph and Strep germs), viruses, herpes, parasites, and 100 strains of fungi (including Candida). It has also proven to be effective against food poisoning and diarrhea.
